TapTap Pub

Built for Benin

Your catalog, your sales and your stock in one place

TapTap Pub is built for the merchant who sells through WhatsApp, not for a warehouse. Post a product to your status, record a sale, and your stock follows along.

The app, screen by screen

Your catalog

A photo, a price, a count. What is running low shows at a glance, and any product can be shared or sold without leaving the list.

  • Product photo
  • Price and stock
  • Margin worked out

The status card

Pick a product and the app draws the card at status size, with your photo, your price and your number, and writes the caption. All that is left is to paste it into WhatsApp.

  • 11 themes
  • Caption written for you
  • One tap to share

The product page

The price, the stock level and the two actions that matter, in one place. Adjust the count, share it to your status or record a sale without changing screen.

  • Adjustable stock
  • Share to status
  • One tap to sell

Three moves, every day

  1. Photograph the product

Camera or gallery, a price, a stock count.

  2. Share it to your status

The app builds the card and writes the caption. You paste.

  3. Record the sale

Stock goes down by itself. Cancel it and it comes back.

What the app does

One person, or a small team, selling physical goods over WhatsApp, keeping sales in a notebook or scattered through chat threads, and tired of counting stock from memory. First market: Benin.

Your catalog, photo first

A product, a photo from your camera or your gallery, a price and a stock count. See at a glance what is running low.

A status card in one tap

Pick a product and the app builds the card: your photo, your price, your store name, and a link that opens a WhatsApp chat with you. The caption is written for you, ready to paste.

Orders you can keep track of

Record a counter sale in seconds. Move an order from pending to confirmed to completed and your stock follows along. Cancel it and the stock comes back.

Know what you earned

Revenue, profit and units sold for today, this week and this month. Because you record a cost price, you see margin and not just turnover.

Works when the network does not

Your catalog and your orders are kept on your phone, so the app opens with your data already on screen.

No ads, no tracking

No ad network, no analytics SDK, no location data. TapTap Pub records your sales; it does not touch your money and never asks for payment details.

Get the app

TapTap Pub is not on Google Play yet. The button will appear here the day the listing goes live, and we would rather say so than put up a link that leads nowhere. The code below already works.

Coming to Google Play

The listing address, once it is published: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.taptap.pub

QR code for this page
Scan this code with your phone camera.

This code leads to: https://taptappub.mocktar.com/en/

The code leads to this page rather than straight to the store, so you can print it on a poster or send it over WhatsApp today and it will still be right once the app is published, and on the day there is an iPhone version too.

One thing to know before you sign up

Product photos are stored at a public web address, because WhatsApp has to be able to show them in your status. Anyone who has the link can open them, with no account. So only upload photos of your products. The privacy policy explains this in full.
